Amy’s questions –

Why did you get into blogging?

I got into blogging as a way to help me overcome a few of my fears, help others who suffer and battler mental health illnesses too and pursue my dream careers.

What music are you currently into?

I’m also into the same songs I was when i was a teenager, I love a lot of different variety of music. Though I do really enjoy listening to a lot of David grey, Post Malone, Carrie Underwood, Bebe Rexha, Imagine Dragons, Pink, Boyce Avenue (cover songs), Hozier, Ed Sheeran, The Cranberries, Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz and so forth.

I can go from Ed Sheeran to Hollywood Undead in seconds.

Who do you look up to the most?

My mum. Anyone who knows me or has been following my blog or following me on twitter @Tinkableeblog will know my first answer is my mum. She’s always been the person I’ve looked up to, has always been there for me and still continues to be my most supportive cheerleader. But, also my older sister. I remember when I was younger and I always wanted to be like my older sister, she’s always been so beautiful and talented and very witty, I wanted to follow her around everywhere she went.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

The best piece of advice I have ever been given has been off my mum, ‘You can’t please everyone, so start with pleasing yourself, even if you think it will displease me. Because at the end of the day you are responsible for your happiness, not for everyone else’s.’

What was the best holiday you’ve ever been on?

Visiting my Uncle in Barry. This must have been when I was 6 or 7…maybe even a little younger or older I’m not too sure as I have terrible memory (another reason why writing is a big part of my life). Me, my mum and siblings spent a week there I think and we went to the beach and fair ground with so many colourful and flashy rides! I had the best time that week, plus he had two dogs (brother and sister) whom I just adored!

What are you most proud of?

Finally following through on starting my blog, as well as my childhood dream job of becoming a author.

What’s your favourite TV Show to binge watch?

I haven’t really watch TV since being in my early teens but me and my boyfriend will watch a few shows now and again. We are currently in the middle of binge watching Grimm and Lucifer. I used to really like watching Friends and still watch The Big Bang Theory (I am so sad to see it come to an end!). I also watch Young Sheldon, and A LOT of cartoons. I really love Archer (New season starts in two days!), Rick and Morty (who have finally announced their release date for November), and Big Mouth.

What makes you laugh the most?

I honestly don’t have an answer for this question as said as it may seem. But I have never taken much notice of myself and with my depression it makes it incredibly hard for me to notice the good things in life, it makes it hard to spot the things that make me laugh the most.

What would be your dream job be?

Counsellor/Author

Who is your favourite Disney character?

I don’t have a favourite, there are too many Disney characters to just have ONE favourite. But my favourite Disney films are, ‘The Beauty and The beast’, ‘Peter Pan/Tinkerbell’ and ‘Snow white’…oh and ‘Bambi!’

Questions written by Naomi:

(1) Describe a family member you really connect with.
I connect with pretty much everyone in my family. We all have little traits of one another and we seems to just click/connect easily.

(2)What’s your favourite TV show and why?
I don’t really have a favourite TV show really, it’s only been this year that I’ve started to watch TV shows and movies with my boyfriend. Before that I’d lost interest in it when I was about 15 years old, only watching ‘The vampire diaries’ and, ‘The originals.’

(3)What challenges have you faced in your life? What did you do to overcome them?
Too many. With the help of loved ones and strength from within.

(4)Pitch a podcast idea in 150 words or less.
Books, cats… and chocolate. That’s all have to say.

(5)What does a normal day look like for you?
A normal day is usually me waking up stressed out and panicked for no reason between 5-6am. Hot chocolate in the morning while I do my morning yoga. Then I like to check my emails, go through twitter and engage with people for a little bit, get through some chores while sorting my cats out. Then I’m reading, writing and editing. Seeing family/friends. Go for a little walk with my boyfriend while taking some pictures, play with my cats, then I’m back on my phone/laptop. I like to get a little yoga in before bed if I don’t manage another throughout the day.

(6)If there were no laws for one day, what would you do?
I’d probably take all the books, cameras, notebooks and stationary items… probably take a few things for my cats, mum, siblings and boyfriend. Probably take A LOT of chocolate too, nothing beats chocolate, except maybe the Ben & Jerry’s chocolate fudge ice-cream.

(7)What would you most like to change about the world?
I’d like to change people’s views on following trends and copying other’s identities. I’d like to change all this negativity and hate that is spreading like a terrible virus across the world.

(8)What are you most ‘into’ (excluding blogging/writing)?
That’s a hard one since writing has always been such a big thing in my life but I guess then I’d have to say anything really. At one point I’d gotten myself into piano/keyboard. I bake, read, take pictures, make memories, anything to pass the time.

(9)Where would you like to be in ten years?
I’m not too sure as I’ve been learning not to really focus on the future but rather the present. I like to take small baby steps otherwise my anxiety takes over.

(10)Write a description of yourself from the perspective of a Superfan.
Oh boy, I’m not sure… I’m just going to leave this blank for now.

(11)What pet’s would you like to have and why?
If I didn’t have pets and if it was allowed I’d have fish again. I really loved having fish when I was a little girl and I’d like to have them again at some point. Another pet I’d like to have is a Border Collie, I’ve had friends and neighbours with this breed of dog and they are simply the most enjoyably little creature ever!

Questions Written by Leo:

(1)Describe yourself in 5 words?
Observant, friendly, peacekeeper, passionate

(2)Do you have a guilty pleasure and what is it?
My guilty pleasure is reality TV shows. Although I never used to watch TV that often when I did, I did like to watch a few reality shows.

(3)If you could be in charge of the government for one day what would you do?
Probably right as much of their wrong doings as I could. I’m not too sure.

(4)What 5 things do you want to accomplish in the next five years?
– I want to finally finish my novel
– I want blog to be better known
– I want to have my ‘LittleTinkablee Anxiety Candles’ Range finally out into the world
– I’d like to have a better handle on my life
– Lastly, I’d to be able to have progressed much further in my yoga practice.

(5)What does your blog mean to you?
My blog means everything to me. It’s a little piece of who I am, with little bits of my memory and life embedded into it.

(6)Why did you become a blogger?
I became a blogger in the hopes that it would help with my sever anxiety, to share my journey and progress with my eating disorder, to get my things out there and to have a place of the internet I was able to say was mine! I did it so I could better connect with others and help push my dream of becoming an author. I became a blogger because I love to write, because writing has always been a big part of my life from the moment I was able to. But I also became a blogger to help others and spread some pomposity in this darkening world.

(7)What would you say to your ten year old self? Based on what you know about your life now?
Never listen to others and never let them make you lose sight of who you are. You are more than enough and never stop climbing, it’s makes you feel free and free is something you are always going to need to feel.

(8)what is your favourite movie and why?
School of Rock has been my all times favourite ever since it came out, I’ve always loved Jack Black and I remember my mum buying me the DVD of it for Christmas when I was younger. I can watch that film over and over and never tire of it!

(9)If you could have a dinner party with any famous person (Dead or alive) who would it be and why?(3 people Max).
Amy the lead singer of Evanescence Eminem and Ed Sheeran or maybe David Gray? – I love all their songs and I think they are amazing musicians! I grew up listening to all of these artists (except Ed Sheeran) My brothers would play a lot of Eminem, my mum loves Evanescence and she’s the one who got me into David Gray, he just has such an amazing voice! And, when Ed Sheeran came about I instantly fell in love with his voice!

(10)Why is it important to help others?
Because without the help of others I know I wouldn’t have made it this far… I know what’s it like to need help and it’s important to offer that help, otherwise no one would help anyone and I can’t see that being a good thing. Plus it makes me feel good knowing that I’ve helped someone out.

(11)If a movie about your life came out, who would you want to play in the film.
I literally have no answer for this one. I don’t ever think my life should become a movie.
